Hello everyone! Stacey here, and I’ve taken back over our newsletter and internet posts. It’s been a long time since I’ve logged into these sites and my skills are a little rusty. I obviously failed miserably at getting the newsletter out in November, but I think I’ve learned from my mistakes and am giving it another go for December. December! Where the heck did this year go?! Haha, don’t we say that at the end of every year? It’s been another weird, wild and wacky one in the insurance industry, but 2025 saw a little stability in the market, so we’ll keep moving forward with hope and positivity toward the next year.
Pictured above is our elderly chihuahua, Mia. She wants to wish you all a Merry Christmas and to let you know that she’s rounding out 2025 living her best, semi-retired life, by coming to the office everyday but not working too hard. She gets around surprisingly fast despite her age and ailments and is always down for treats.
Are you baking holiday treats next week? Whatever your plans are for the holidays, we hope they aren’t too stressful and that you stay warm, and safe. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone at Kasmann Insurance Agency (and Mia the Chia)!
Commercial Corner:
It was Cyber Security Awareness Month way back in October and dang-it, we missed it! Cyber attacks don’t just happen to large corporations, they happen everyday to small businesses. Are you prepared to deal with the fallout if your clients data is compromised? What if all your data is held for ransom? Have you reviewed your policy or need for Cyber coverage lately? Call Stacey at 573-442-1105 today to discuss your risk for a Cyber Liability loss and what it may cost you to add, or increase Cyber coverage.

Speaking of October, we’re going to throw it back to Halloween and all of us pictured above dressed in costume. In case you missed our Facebook post, the Kasmann team had a lot of fun dressing up this year. Pictured left to right, Jackie was a zombie cow, Stacey was a witch, Fatima was a Rubik’s Cube and Rhiannon was Mary from the show Sinners (and looked much more like a vampire after dark).
You might be wondering who Jackie is. Well, meet Jacqueline Pedroza! She is our new, Spanish-speaking agent, who joined our team right as Anne was leaving a couple months ago. We still miss Anne, but we are excited to welcome Jackie!
Jackie says she is just as excited to be part of our agency family. She is originally from California, but considers Columbia her second home, since she has been here over 15 years and has watched it continue to grow. She has two children who fill her free time, Angiilyse and Junior, and they are her pride and joy.
She has been in the insurance industry for almost three years and loves helping people. Prior to becoming an Agent, Jackie worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles. She’s glad to have made the career move, since she feels like she fits in well within the industry and she enjoy coming to work every day. Jackie says she appreciates that Kasmann Insurance has given her an opportunity to expand her knowledge and skill-set, and she looks forward to continue growing in her position. Jackie also looks forward to serving you and your insurance needs with the same honesty and integrity the agency prides itself on, and she say’s she’ll include the smiles at no extra cost!
If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by to say ‘hi’ to Jackie!
Last, but not least, we continue to welcome all former Payless Insurance clients to our agency. We look forward to meeting you and working with you in the new year!
