Our Process

Needs Assessment – You’ll meet with an agent via phone, email, or in-person, so we may determine your specific needs. If you currently have coverage elsewhere, we’ll want to see your policy “declarations page(s),” so we make sure not to eliminate any coverage you already have.

Market Analysis – Unlike a captive agent who only sells for one company, like State Farm or Shelter, Kasmann Insurance is appointed with several carriers to fit a variety of coverage needs. We’ll do the legwork of comparing coverages and running quotes. We are also required to run third-party consumer reports, so the insurance companies can review motor vehicle reports, claims, and credit history to determine your specific rating. *You are welcome to request a copy of those reports directly from the individual companies.

Review – An agent will share our results and the option they have determined best suits your needs. You may choose to complete necessary applications at this time, and provide a  payment to “bind” coverage.

Underwriting – An underwriter from the carrier selected will review your application, verify all the information is correct, approve your policy to be issued and produce the necessary forms and documents.

Continuing Service – After your policy is issued, your Kasmann Insurance Agent will continue to provide ongoing support for policy changes, coverage and rate reviews, and to help file a claim if you experience a loss
